On the third day he rose
uncertain and unsure about crucifixion
did it always come with love
was blood the colour of a lovers rose
were rifts in heaven always accompanied by pain
on the third day he rose
carried a dull ache all day
that night still hollow
wrapped his arms around a wine red pillow
and slept
unable to dream of her
walking in the garden alone

Graham, for some reason I cannot comment on your post dated the 4th, so I am posting my comment here,
I believe it’s important to have a heart to search for a relationship with our God and not just learn about God from others. The relationship we establish will teach us far better than what others want to teach us. I admire your search, may it be a wonder to your heart.
We do have to meet sometime.
