- I live in New Zealand only saw New Zealand after trying to move my life to America. During this time I could not help but realise by my experiences and discovering aspects of America I also re- discovered NZ. I tend to have a philosophical, reflective mind set amd came to see that you don't really know or value some things until you lose them.
The fact that my mind is wired like it is lead to many comparisons and trying to understand moments. I know I don't have the whole picture.
New Zealand has shaped who I am, and in a sense America defined who I am as thought about things deeply. I can't help that. I had a whole lot of fun too, and met many many neat people, some who remain and will remain good friends.
I am thankful for that.
I am also thankful fro the freedom I have and the support of my kids to go on this wild goose chase @ 51 when they are just starting theirs.
